2010 BMW X5 M

The most hp to an SUV was 550, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, which had 550. BMW answered to that by making the BMW X5/6 M. This article is about the more practical one, the X5 M. Pumping out 555 horsepower, I wouldn't be surprised if it-or even more likely the X6 M-can go 180 mph! And we're talking a 5,082 pound truck (6,405 if it's completely filled up). MPG is unknown, I wouldn't be surprised if it's an extremely low total (for the fuel economy supporters, you could always get the 2010 X5/6 hybrid), but this baby is pure and performance. And BMW is primarily a luxury company, so it's always nice to see their sports cars. If you want it, you need quite a bit of loot, because it costs $86,255.

Ford Taurus SHO

After being cut from the Taurus lineup 11 years back, Ford has revived the Taurus SHO. Can a full size sedan by Ford, a company known to have only standard styles for their affordable cars, SHO us 365 horses? Of course they can! Ford SHOs us how to make a 350+ horsepower automobile with 21 combined mpg (25 highway) while keeping minimal safety and reliability problems. The final muscle sedan we're reviewing is guaranteed to put on a SHO! And for an inexpensive price of $37,160.

2009 Pontiac G8 GXP

Sadly, Pontiac has been taken out by GM for something they have been planning. One of my favorite cars will be going down with Pontiac, the Pontiac G8 GXP. It has REALLY good performance and awesome styling! It carries a 6.2L V8 (shown above) with 415 horses and 415 lb-ft of torque! It also it gets a 15 MPG combined which is pretty good for it's performance. The MPG isn't to amazing but when you see the price it's a bargain! This monster costs $37,610! Almost the cheapest of the 3 muscle sedans I am comparing!

2009 Chrysler 300 SRT-8

This is a muscle sedan, and unlike others, this one has luxury too! It is a Chrysler 300 SRT-8 that puts sport sport first then luxury. It is a copy of the Dodge Charger SRT-8 put is more luxurious. It carries a 6.1L Hemi V8 putting out 425 horses and 420 lb-ft of torque! Now THAT is some real power! Take a look at the interior and you get a whole different message, one that looks comfortable AND high tech. This car is on sale but chrysler probably won't update it because they are BANKRUPT.

Is this it for the Chrysler Group?

The end for the Chrysler group is near. They are bankrupt and their cars are just plain... not good! There are a few cars that I like and a few that I don't. The ones I like are the Dodge Ram 1500, the Dodge Challenger SRT8, and the 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The ones that I am happy to see go are the Chrysler Sebring, the Chrysler PT Cruiser (the PT Cruiser already got the boot), and the Dodge Nitro. The rest are OK but on the bad side. I think Chrysler's big fault is the reliability. Almost all their cars on Consumer Reports had bad reliability. In a way I am happy to see Chrysler go.

2011 Chevrolet Cruze

The Chevy Cruze just looks... normal and plain. It would be nice if there was a certain unique style to the car. It carries a 1.4L I4 with 140 horses and 148 lb-ft of torque. It will be offered with a turbocharger in the U.S. and Chevy says it will get 40 MPG! That's pretty good! I guess if you look at the MPG factor you will find that this car is quite good. However, in Europe it will be offered with a gas or diesel engine. This might help GM against their slump but when I look at this car I think, maybe.

2011 Chevrolet Volt

Chevy is making a all new 4 door 4 seater all eletric sedan! Finally! It carries a 1.4L I4 with only a 4 hour battery charge time! This could be GMs big hit. They finally build an electric car promising great things about it. I hope they don't fail because this car could mean big buisness for GM!

2011 Chevrolet Spark

Considering GM is in a big slump, it might help to build cars that are considerably cheaper and with better fuel economy. Thats where the Chevy Spark comes in. It is a 5 seating subcompact car that carries a 1.2L I4 with unknown horsepower and torque. Though, I imagine the performance numbers probably won't be that amazing! I am not sure of the fuel economy but it will be (hopefully) really good! If this is the future genaration of Chevy, they are getting with the times.

2010 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid

The Porsche Cayenne is a SUV that has many styles that offer huge performance. Now in 2010 Porsche is announcing their long awaited Cayenne Hybrid! It will have a 3.6L V8 putting out 290 horses and 273 lb-ft of torque. Not to impressive compared to the other Cayenne models. The price is unavailable but it will be expensive when it comes out!

2009 Audi TTS

Audi introduced the TT in 2000 as a basic coupe and convertible. After making the standard TT all the way up to 2008, they realized they needed a more high performance version. That's where the 2009 TTS falls into play. It comes in both coupe and convertible, while the coupe seats 4 and the convertible seats 2. It carries a 2.0L I4 turbocharged making 265 horses and 258 lb-ft of torque! That's better than the I4 and V6 Audi TT models! The most amazing part, the MPG! It, after all that upgraded performance, gets a combined 24 MPG! Amazing, right! This bad boy sells for $45,500.

2012 Lotus Evora

Lotus has been making small compact cars for years. The most recent ones are the Lotuse Exige and the Lotus Elise. They all use the same 1.8L I4 supercharged. It was getting a bit bland so in the Lotus Evora they put in a 3.5L V6 putting out 276 horses and 252 lb-ft of torque! It actully seats four instead of two like the other Lotus models! MPG has always been a strong point for Lotus and the Evora will be gettin a estimated 19-20 MPG combined! There is no price yet but when it comes out it should be costing around $90,000.

Tesla Model S

Tesla is a going with the flow company. They are making all electric vehicles to help the environment and to help you save money on gas! This model is a all electric sedan that can seat 7 if you up for a extra accessory. We do not yet know the performance numbers, but we do know that it will go with AWD. It can go up to 225 miles on a single charge and it only takes 3.5 hours to recharge the car! This car isn't coming out till late 2010 or mid 2011. Start saving up now because when it comes out it will cost $60,000.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep is going through a lot. The Chrysler group is bankrupt and they had to stop the Jeep Scrambler to getting into production. Now they made a update for the Jeep Grand Cherokee! It looks like it is going to do better than the past version because of performance, and different options like Quadra Air Lift System. What it does is raise the Jeep higher for more rugged terrain or lower it for more styling! It uses a 3.6L V6 to make 280 horses and 260 lb-ft of torque! Up for the Hemi and you get a 5.7L Hemi V8 and you get 360 horses and 390 lb-ft of torque! Fuel economy is estimated at 14/20 mpg for the RWD model and 13/19 for the 4WD model. Not to shabby for a offroading SUV! I guess Jeep really is improving.

Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series

The 2009 Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series is a car that makes you think, WOW! WOW is right for many reasons. This car has a turbocharged 6.0L V12, making 661 horses and 738 lb-ft of torque!! It can also reach a max speed of 200 mph! That's some reasons! Another huge reason is it's fuel economy. After all those performance numbers it still gets, 14 MPG. Not to impressive but with a car like this you need all the fuel economy you can get! This beast is selling for just under $300,000. WOW!

Nissan GT-R

If you need a sports car with thundering acceleration, flashy looks, and for less than 100K, this is your best bet. The Nissan GT-R is back! Returning from the 1970s-80s skyline, it has one factor that is absolutely mind boggling: acceleration. Going from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, it does so faster than the Chevy Corvette ZR1, the Audi R8 5.2 Quattro, and the Lamborghini Murcielago!!! It does so with a twin turbocharged 3.8L V6 engine. It has 19 combined MPG, as well as 485 horsepower and 434 lb.-ft. of torque. And, it has one more quality: its price. These bad boys are selling right now for about $80,000 dollars.

Bentley Continental Supersports

A fine example of what a sports car should be from one of the finest luxury companies in the world. The Bentley Continental Supersports. It's Bentley's fastest roadgoing car at 204 mph, and it accelerates from 0-60 in roughly 3.7 seconds. Its 621 horses is striking (as well as 590 lb. ft. of torque) but probably most impressive is that it's all attained from an automatic turbodiesel engine! It goes with AWD (not the typical RWD used on most sports cars) , and can get up to 24 miles per gallon on the highway! Although it's not overpriced, you'll still have to rake up $273K+ if you want it. Target launch is fall 2009.

Spyker C8

You have probably never even heard of a car company called Spyker, you probably have never seen a car looking this way also. Spyker is a Dutch company that builds exotic sports cars by hand, and they are extremely rare! This specific model is the Spyker C8 and it has a unique design. It carries a 4.2L V8 giving out 400 horses and 354 lb-ft of torque and it's top speed is just under 190 mph. The price is higher than cars with greater performance, that cost way less. The price is $209,990, not very cheap huh? However, the cars probably won't have the same unique styling that makes Spyker so special!

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

After Hyundai created a luxurious yet still pretty affordable (and very inexpensive for its class) Genesis, they made another great car. The review's about the 3.8L V6 style of the Hyundai Genesis coupe, which specifications point to competition with the Nissan 350Z, (and its partner, the Infiniti G37 coupe) as well as the the Audi A5 yet it's 10-15K cheaper. It puts out a good 27 highway MPG, while keeping an amazing 306 hp. OK, not too incredible, but for its price it's truly an accomplishment. If you need the ultimate combination for an affordable price, than this is clearly one of your best bets; the cost even without dealership discounts is only 26.5K.

2011 Acura RL

The update for the Acura RL has arrived! It will be carrying a V8 (finally!) instead of a V6. When it debuted in 1996, the V6 fit well, but soon became rather bland as competitors began offering V8s as well as V10s in special options. Acura is answering to that by putting in the 4.8L V8, but probably most impressive is the 420 horses it's packing in. It sticks with AWD, as always. However, don't expect to see this car until at least late 2010.

2010 Chevy Camaro SS

When you think muscle car you think BIG horsepower and blistering performance. When you see the 2010 Chevy Camaro SS you see extreme styling and GREAT performance! It has a 6.2L V8 with 426 horsepower and 420 pound feet of torque! That has more horsepower than the Ford Mustang GT and about the same as the Challenger SRT8! It has exceptional MPG at 19 combined. Okay, so maybe the Camaro changed a bit, from beautiful classic, to ugly later 19th century, and finally to the NEW thing! I'll admit the new Challenger looks a lot like it's classic versioin than the Camaro, but doing a head to head comparison with them I realized there was only one clear winner, the Camaro! So basically what I am trying to say is, let go of some of the past and replace it with some of the new and you will get a great car!

2010 Ford Mustang GT

Another one of the greatest American musle cars! The 2010 Ford Mustang GT! It has a 4.6L V8 with 315 horsepower and 325 pound feet of torque! It zips by 0-60 in about 5.2 sec! It is a pretty light car so it handles better than some of the other American musle cars!

2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8

This Dodge Challenger SRT8 isn't exactly new but it has awesome retro styling and huge performance! It carries a 6.1L V8 making 425 horsepower and 420 pound feet of torque! It also does 0-60 in around 5.5 sec! It is one of the greatest American musle cars ever!

2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost

The new 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost! A HUGE luxury sedan with great styling and performance! It carries a 6.6L V12 pumping out 500 horsepower. The price is estimated to be around $250,000.

2010 Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro

The NEW update for the Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro has arrived!! It ups the performance and style! It uses a 5.2L V10 engine instead of a V8 and it puts out 518 horsepower and 319 pound feet of torque. It also gets oval exaust pipes instead of the 2 on each side, and it gets chrome front grill. It rockets 0-60 in 3.9 sec and has a electronically limited top speed of 196 mph!! You better start saving up because when it comes out it will be costing $180,000!!

2009 Maybach Landaulet

The first word you should think is, luxury. This car is a Maybach Landaulet. Many sedans fake convertible hoods, but this is an honest to God sedan convertible. Full size, too. It has an extremely high amount of horsepower (604), but even more earth-shaking is its lb.-ft. of torque (738). Unlike other Maybachs, which can generally seat four, this can still comfortably seat five. If you have a need for speed however, this isn't necessarily your car, as it is limited to 155 mph. But if you're for extreme comfort and love luxurious and fun-to-drive cars, then you'd best start saving up. This monster costs more than most houses ($1,380,000) .

2010 Aston Martin Rapide

Probably one of the greatest sport sedans ever! The Aston Martin Rapide!! It uses the same V12 as the DBS and is estimated to have 500 hp!! Even though it has 4 doors it is considered a 4 door coupe!! Expect to see this car around 2010.

2010 Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M Spider

One of the best lookin' cars ever! The 2010 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M!!! It should have the same engine as the standard Scuderia (4.3L V8) and it should also get the same hp (510) at 8500 rpm. It just misses the 200 mph mark w/the electronic limiter, but can go almost 210 without it. Don't get out your wallets just yet it won't come out for another year!

2010 Toyota Prius

Better MPG, more comfortable, better controls, and more. Thats the 2010 Toyota Prius, better than the 2009 version. It also has better performance, 134 hp vs 110 (2009 version). It isn't very quick but it can accelerate 0-60 mph in 10.1 sec. It gets around 50 MPG vs 48 and is a bit bigger. If getting a half gasoline half electric car the Prius is the best deal.

CARS!!

First off, you should know that this blog is pretty much ALL about NEW CARS! If you are a fan of cars (like me) then you will love this blog! Enjoy!
